Develop and deliver a 1-day training course introducing the building blocks of effective process improvement, the various improvement techniques and guidance on when and how best to use them. The material had to be tailored to the needs of a newly formed team who had little or no previous exposure to process improvement methods.
What we did:
We developed a full but active day of training based around exercises, games and challenges, balanced with background information to provide context to the learning objectives of each activity. The training was focused on each aspect of the improvement process in a sequence that built up into a complete picture that was easy to understand. We also introduced the principles of leading change and gave insights on how to be effective project managers.
In a single day’s training we ensured delegates had sufficient knowledge and understanding to shape the direction they wanted to take and lead change – something they had been trying to do on their own for over a year.
